Last month, the world watched in horror as wildfires blazed, made worse by the notorious Santa Ana winds and drought conditions.  200,000 people were forced to evacuate, and countless lost their homes and belongings to the fires. I spent several days reaching out to my California friends and family with such a sense of helplessness and sadness. How could I help this place I love so much while living so far away?
